Jacob Sheaf, CIMA®, ChFC®

Jacob Sheaf was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Capital University where he was a member of the baseball team and graduated with a degree in Finance & Economics. After graduation, he began his career at Nationwide Financial, supporting financial advisors in delivering tailored retirement plans and insurance solutions.

After meeting his wife, Clare, Jacob moved to Dallas, Texas where he worked for Cain Watters & Associates. During his time at CWA, he focused on financial planning services for self-employed individuals, primarily dentists and other healthcare professionals. This experience gave him insight into the impact of niche financial advice and the importance of understanding the unique challenges, opportunities, and goals within a client’s specialized profession. It also reinforced his belief that tailored guidance can meaningfully improve clients’ long-term financial outcomes.

Jacob serves as a Senior Wealth Advisor at LRC Aviation Advisors, a division of Oarsman Capital. In this role, he works closely with pilot clients to deliver thoughtful, strategic guidance and customized solutions, emphasizing education and long-term planning so clients can confidently navigate complex financial decisions.

Outside of his professional life, Jacob can be found cheering for his Ohio sports teams or playing a round of golf. He enjoys spending time with his family, staying active through sports and outdoor activities, and creating memorable experiences with his daughter, often trading long treks for fun, family-focused outings.
