Chuck Allison, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, CSS™
Chuck Allison was born in Midland, Michigan, and raised in Wisconsin, where he has lived most of his life. A former collegiate swimmer, Chuck competed at both Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin. He began his career at Northwestern Mutual, where he built a successful personal practice and served in several leadership roles.
Chuck later transitioned from his personal practice to help grow the Pilot Program at Cleary Gull Advisors, focused on serving commercial airline pilots and their families. During this time, he began working closely with Jaclyn Gruber, establishing a professional partnership that has spanned more than a decade. After years of refining their business and deepening their specialization, Chuck and Jaclyn co-founded LRC Aviation Advisors, a division of Oarsman Capital.
LRC Aviation Advisors provides holistic financial planning and investment management for commercial airline pilots and their families. The firm is guided by a client-centric philosophy grounded in trust, clear communication, and long-term relationships. Together, Chuck and Jaclyn have helped hundreds of pilot families navigate complex financial decisions and work toward achieving their long-term goals.
Outside of his professional life, Chuck is an avid adventure-seeker who enjoys hiking, climbing, and both short- and long-distance running. His most memorable experiences include climbing Stok Kangri in India, completing an ultramarathon in the Sahara Desert, summiting Mt. Aconcagua in Argentina, and hiking through the jungles of Costa Rica. His wife, Stephanie, has accompanied him on many of these adventures, and one of their favorite places is Colorado, where they summited Longs Peak together. Their shared love for the state later led them to marry in Idaho Springs in 2023.
Chuck and Stephanie welcomed their first child, Charlie, in October 2025. They live in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, with their dog, Lucy, and look forward to continuing their travels as a family, sharing their passion for adventure with their son, Charlie.
