Chuck Allison, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®
Chuck Allison was born in Midland, Michigan but soon moved to Wisconsin where he’s lived for most of his life. He swam collegiately at both Ohio State University and University of Wisconsin where he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. Chuck planned to attend medical school until he was recruited by Northwestern Mutual to be a Financial Representative. He found early success building his personal practice and moved into many leadership roles over the years.
Chuck Allison eventually left his personal practice to pursue an opportunity to help grow the Pilot Program at Cleary Gull Advisors, later acquired by Johnson Financial Group, where he worked alongside Jaclyn Gruber. Chuck and Jaclyn worked together for many years in the Pilot Program before co-founding LRC Aviation Advisors at Oarsman Capital.
LRC Aviation Advisors specializes in holistic financial planning and investment management for commercial airline pilots and families. They believe a client-centric approach based on trust and communication is critical to a successful long-range client relationship. Throughout their careers, Jaclyn and Chuck have helped hundreds of pilot families accomplish their goals and dreams.
Chuck is an adventure-seeker, especially if it involves hiking, climbing, or running. His most memorable experiences include climbing Stok Kangri in India, running an Ultra-marathon in the Sahara Desert and hiking in the jungle of Costa Rica. Chuck’s wife, Stephanie, has joined him on many of these adventures. One of their favorite places to visit is Colorado, highlighted by their summit of Long’s Peak together. Their shared passion for the mountains is why they decided to get married in Idaho Springs, Colorado in August 2023.
