Bo Ellis
Jeff “Bo” Ellis enjoyed a distinguished career as a United Airlines pilot for nearly four decades, flying a variety of aircraft including the DC-10, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, and 787. Beyond his flying duties, Bo held several key leadership positions, earning a stellar reputation for his dedication to supporting line pilots. His notable roles included System Chief Pilot, Regional Chief Pilot at CLE/ORD/LAX, Flight Operations Duty Manager, Director of the Human Factors Change Management Program, 737 Standards Captain and APD/LCA Coordinator, and LCA for the 737/757/767. Additionally, Bo was an active ALPA volunteer. His extensive leadership experience is poised to strengthen LRC Aviation Advisors’ relationships with pilot clients.
Bo was raised in rural New Berlin, Wisconsin, and graduated from New Berlin Eisenhower High School and the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point with a BS in Exercise Physiology. As an athlete, Bo excelled in several sports, serving as Team Captain for Wrestling, Cross Country, and Track & Field. He also achieved national acclaim as a Track & Field record holder in both high school and college, earning nine All-American titles.
Bo and his wife, Mindy, have four adult children and one grandson, with another grandchild on the way. They have a home in Door County, Wisconsin, which will become their permanent residence in the fall of 2024. Bo and Mindy enjoy spending time with family, engaging in various outdoor activities, fitness, and travel.
