Carter Abbott

Carter Abbott was born in Overland Park, Kansas, and raised in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where he developed a passion for athletics, teamwork, and leadership from an early age. A lifelong soccer player, he competed at a high level throughout his youth, winning multiple state championships with his club and Marquette University High School, and earning Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year. These experiences instilled discipline, preparation, and resilience—qualities that continue to guide his professional approach.

Carter earned his degree in Personal Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison while continuing his collegiate soccer career. He later completed a master’s in real estate at Fordham University, where he captained the soccer program.

After graduate school, Carter returned to Milwaukee and joined a high-performing advisory team at RW Baird, supporting financial planning, investment operations, and client relationship management. This experience strengthened his dedication to delivering clear, practical guidance.

Drawn to a specialized, relationship-focused advisory model, Carter joined LRC Aviation Advisors, a division of Oarsman Capital. As an Associate Wealth Advisor, he supports the team’s holistic planning and investment process for commercial airline pilots and their families and is pursuing his CFP® designation.

Outside of his professional life, Carter enjoys cooking, golfing, attending live music events, exploring new restaurants, and following Wisconsin’s professional sports teams. He lives in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where he values staying active, spending time with family, and pursuing personal and professional goals.
