Scott Shutack

Scott Shutack is a Pilot Advocate and Strategic Client Advisor, where he serves as a trusted resource to pilots, connecting them to the full capabilities of the LRC Aviation Advisors team and helping them navigate complex decisions. Scott works closely with his LRC colleagues, who are responsible for implementing the firm’s comprehensive approach. This approach integrates estate, tax, insurance, and long-term care planning, and provides clients with a coordinated strategy designed to protect and strengthen their family’s long-term financial future.

Having known LRC co-founders Jaclyn and Chuck both personally and professionally for over a decade, Scott brings a unique, firsthand appreciation for their character and the vision that drives the LRC team’s work.

Scott is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and served ten years as a U.S. Air Force pilot, followed by a distinguished 30-year career as an airline pilot with a major U.S. carrier. His leadership experience includes roles as a Line Check Pilot, Evaluator, and Director of Flight Standards.

Scott has been married to his wife, Susan, for 33 years, and together they have two children. Scott and Susan, along with their children and their families, are also clients of LRC, reflecting their personal confidence in the firm’s approach.
